Class 6 2025 - 2026
Miss Churchman
Welcome to Class 6!
Welcome back to school everyone. This term, the children will be sitting their Sats tests. Please help to support us in making sure that your child goes to bed on time, is reading every night and is resting where possible. They have worked so hard all year and now is the chance for them to showcase the brilliant progress they have made.
Our PE days this term are a Wednesday and a Friday, so please ensure that your child has the correct kit in on this day. The long term plan and class newsletter are attached to our page where you can see what the children will be learning about in more detail over the course of this term and the academic year.
Reading
Please ensure that your child brings their reading book and record into school every day. I cannot stress the importance of reading regularly to help support their fluency skills and being able to access a wider, in depth curriculum.
The children also now have logins for Reading Plus which I cannot recommend enough in order to support their fluency.
As always, I will be available at the classroom door at the end of each day for any quick queries, but if you need to schedule a meeting to discuss anything more in depth, please contact the school office to book an appointment.
